Many cards have a readied and an exhausted state.
An exhausted card is flipped facedown, indicating that the values and abilities on the front of the card cannot be used.
During the status phase, all exhausted cards are readied.
A readied card is flipped face-up, indicating that the values and abilities on the front of the card can be used.
