Deed Cards were introduced in the Hope's End expansion for Twilight Imperium Second Edition
Each deed card represents a unique planet. There are a total of 58 deed cards and thus 58 planets total in the game.
When a player takes control of a planet, they may obtain the respective deed card to allow for easy counting of resource and influence totals
Deed cards are also used in many Political cards introduced in the expansion. If an Agenda instructs a player to "Draw a planet" this involves drawing a random planet deed card using the criteria mentioned on the Agenda.
Deed cards show a planet's art, resource value, influence value and whether it has any technology specialties. This is shown in the image above
